I found this after tons of research & looking everywhere for the perfect "small," lightweight pack to carry a few things on our morning walks along the river, like hand sanitizer (we pick up trash while on our walks), 2 thermos bottles to carry 2 waters (or a hot coffee & a water, depending on how early we get out).First of all, I didn't want one that was just around my waist bc they tend to drag down, etc. I was thrilled to find this one that has the shoulder straps with it--perfect for holding it placed perfectly for balance & comfort.I was SO excited when I saw someone wrote that it helped their lumbar area bc I have issues there. Imagine how THRILLED I was to see the netting along the back inside of the lumbar area that is PERFECT for holding a frozen gel icepack against my lumbar area❣❣❣Thirdly, the many compartments are perfect (yes, there's that word again, lol) for all the little things like, as I mentioned above, hand sanitizer, I.D., bank cards, health insurance cards, tissues, first-aid kits, backup battery for cellphones, charging cords, snacks, dog water bowl & treats, & more!Last, but certainly not least: it came in my favorite color (teal), & is VERY well-made--all for under $25❣❣❣I love it SO much, I'm thinking of buying one for my son, who is outside a LOT. I highly recommend this.

I bought this pack to use on local hikes when I didn't feel I would need to carry lots of extra clothing and gear. I chose it mostly because it was the right size and would hold two water bottles. However, the feature that turned out to be the most important to me was the additional back/shoulder straps. This strap system keeps the pack from sagging on your hips and it lifts the weight up. I felt as if I weren't carrying anything. I can't believe this pack was so inexpensive. It seems quite sturdy and well built. I don't think it really needs all of the extra small straps and buckles and I doubt I'll ever use them, but they aren't in the way so it doesn't matter. Very happy with the purchase.

I absolutely love this fanny pack!!! It beats the $80+ ones I had to pass by in town! It's extremely well made! I love the extra straps you can use and have used it in all configurations. There is so much storage too! There are 2 small compartments on the belt itself where I keep my ID cards and tissues. The main compartment has a sturdy section where I keep my large phone, and a general section where I keep an insect shirt & rain jacket and there's still easily room for lunch and more! There are 2 outer zippered pockets - I keep my key fob in one and haven't used the other. There are 2 side carriers for water but I use 1 for my sunscreen, lip balm, bug spray and TinkleBelle. Lastly, there's room on the strap for my bear spray and elastics that allow me to slide in my portable chair! If I need to get at it while on the move, it is easy to swing it around on my waist. This thing is perfect!

This is an excellent little hiking pack. My only complaint is that it won't stay tightened, thus, slides down my hips after walking awhile. Then I have to stop and adjust it. I am probably going to do something permanent to hold it at the place I need it. The problem with that is that no one else will ever be able to use it if I take away the ability to adjust. It's a great little pack but for that one feature.

Ordered to use for mountain biking. Works great. So great I ordered a 2nd one. Room for all the essentials. I Used it with a hydration bladder. Was concerned with the weight fully loaded plus water. With the shoulders straps on the weight was not an issue. Finally wind cooling my back, and did not feel uncomfortable. A camelback 3liter blader NOT filled all the way fits into it. A smaller bladder would fit better but less water. The material feels durable and zippers and hooks all feel sturdy. Buy a hydration bladder to go with it and its a winner.

I love this bag. I bought this because I've started having back trouble and can't tolerate a backpack for long. This waist bag is a STEAL at the price- quality is far better than expected, it has a ton of storage, and is extremely comfortable to wear on long hikes. The downside is that it won't carry as much water as a hydration pack will, but it does carry two large bottles and there's always the option to use a carabiner to clip on additional bottles if needed.

We liked it so much we bought another one for my daughter! The pack is well made, comes with detachable support straps, lots of practical pockets, including one huge pocket large enough to fit whatever you need - a hammock, some lunch. The bottle pockets are adjustable and fit my fat water bottles.The color is more of a teal than forest green - just a beautiful pack for a good price.

This pack is a good size and shape for my moderate hikes (2-3 hours). Holds phone, protein bar, small camera and "10 essentials" pretty well. The only down side is the waist strap sometimes loosens up a bit while I'm hiking and pack slides down. I don't use the extra shoulder straps, but it is nice to know there are options. Zippers work fine. Will hold water bottles up to 20oz size. This pack is better than one I had made by Coleman. Decent value.Update: Now that I have used this pack quite a few times I have found that when I go for longer hikes I need to use the shoulder strap to provide additional support to help keep the pack up at my waist, especially with 20 oz water bottles. The waist belt/strap tends to loosen up and pack slides down on my hips/butt. However, it is difficult to get the waist belt tight. Have to take the pack off and wrestle with the straps. Rather a pain on the trail that way, not a quick process. Pack still holds what I need, but deleting a star because of the waist belt issue. Initial review was 4 stars, now I'm at 3 stars.
