Sturdy Good Quality
Have used these multiple times and they performed as hoped. The wooden handle is sturdy and does not work loose. These are easy to clean and are a great value for the money. There are three shapes that provide cookie variety. Tge size is perfect for a usual cookie size. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Patterns but Not Easy to Use
I used the recipe on the box to test the stamps. This is my experience:1. The recipe suggests roll dough into 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoon ball and press the stamp on it till the edge cut through. Seems easy but really not. Because the dough stick to the stamp and hard to release from it. I knocked the stamp on the table to loosen the cookie so that it either fall from the stamp or I could peel it carefully out of the stamp. This process not only takes takes a lot of time but yield deformed or stretched cookies.3. I roll the dough out to 1/8” and stamp the dough and press hard till stamp cut through the dough. Peel the dough around the stamped cookies and carefully transfer cookies the the cookie sheet. It is important to brush the stamp with flour EVERYTIME before stamping to avoid dough sticking to the stamp. Refrigerate cookies about 10 minutes before baking.4. There are other type of cookie stamps of round shapes I purchased. I also used the recipe on their box to test the stamps. I roll the dough out to 1/4” instead of 1/8” and found it a better thickness for the stamp. I also use 3” cookie cutter to cut out the cookies after applied the stamps. Using 3” cookie cutter has two advantages: (1) easier to peel excess dough away from the cookies. (2) cookies has clear cut edges, much prettier.

Truly are Heirlooms! 3 years later I bought more designs.
I'm baffled that there are no reviews for these stamps! They refer to them as heirloom stamps and they most certainly are! They are quite beautiful and extremely well made. I'm honestly tempted to order another set so my girls don't fight over them when l am gone. Lol! The designs are simple and elegant and give just that extra wow factor to your cookies. I greatly appreciate how the Nordicware designers achieve such elegance the way that they do. Their artists have such a sophisticated talent! I purchased these to make our own pretty sandwich cookies (think Oreos and they are slightly larger than an Oreo, so perfect!). They do need to be lightly greased to prevent them from sticking to the dough. Directions are on their box along with a nice recipe for peanut butter cookies. (Updated 2020, I purchased two more sets. Geo and Honey Bee sets. Same superb quality, same high recommendations from me.)The directions on the box are as follows:"1. Apply a light coat of oil to each stamp using a pastry brush or nonstick spray. Reapply oil if cookie dough begins to stick to stamp. 2. Hand wash only. Never submerge wooden handles in water. Wipe clean. 3. We suggest making cookie dough from scratch when using cookie stamps. Cookie stamp impressions will not be as defined if using prepackaged cookie mixes or refrigerated dough."Although they don't mention it, I would also add that you should condition the wooden hands every year or so. A light coat of walnut oil or mineral oil (super cheap from the pharmacy) would be a smart idea. Wood shrinks over time if it dries out. If you oil them once a year (No need to do more often then that- I have it marked on my calendar to condition all wooden things in my house once a year.), they really will last a lifetime, if not a few lifetimes! They are a joy to use and a joy to own. I'm glad I ordered them despite the lack of feedback from other users. They were nicer than I even imagined they would be. You won't regret purchasing them!

They're nice ... but ... here's a few tips.
I found that these were somewhat difficult to work with. I called a candy and baking supply store for help. The trick is, roll out your dough. Refrigerate 10 minutes. Spray your cookie press with PAM. Stand up when you press your cookies. Use a 3 inch round cookie cutter after you stamp cookie to cut your cookie. You get nice, defined cookies. If you roll a ball of dough and rock the cookie, they're sloppy looking. Roll out your dough. Refrigeratec10 minutes, stamp, cut, refrigerator again for 30 minutes before baking to have a defined imprint. They are very pretty plain or with coarse colored sanding sugar on them. You need to know the trick of working with these stamps. Research and find a shortbread recipe suitable for cookie pressed cookies. I found videos on YouTube.

Excellent & Professional Tool
So easy to use and make stunning professional looking cookies. Best holiday baking tool I've purchased in a long time. I held in the freezer and gave them a light spray with Pam before stamping the cookie dough balls. They released cleanly and easily.

cute honey bee cookie cutters
These are very sturdy cast aluminum cookie cutters that should last a long time. I love bees and honeycomb associated anything! However, in my hands, I hate to admit this but they did not work well. Even though I floured the cookie cutters and the dough, everything still got stuck. I had a tough time and had to re-roll out the dough and try to re-cut the cookies. And they still didn't turn out great for me because the designs were not distinct enough. So after baking, I had to wing it and piped some vanilla-y honey syrup glaze on top of the vanilla sugar cookies. I also had a tough time getting stuck dough out from the crevices of each cookie cutter. They tend to stick in there! But next time, I will try again with a different kind of cookie and maybe flour the cutters and the dough even more.

A fun way to decorate cookies without adding more sugar.
Nice patterns that didn't "bake out." Great with gingerbread.

Beautiful Bakeware
These a super sweet (no pun intended)! They are a bit heavy so the cookie would fall off. Sometimes I needed to use hot water or icing sugar/flour but they turned out amazing every time. Very sturdy handles! I wouldn’t put them in the dishwasher. They are beautiful!!
