I have a garage door opener that uses a 9V battery. The old one was corroded, and when I removed it the floppy leatherette connector came apart. These have a hard plastic piece that should make it easier to get the battery on and off without ripping the wires accidentally. I wish the wires were sturdier, but with a little fussing and a solder iron I was able to replace the old one ok. The garage opener works great now! (And I have a skillion replacements in the package, if I need another one.)

These are improved over the leather covered9v battery covers. The cap is just a little taller but fits fine. Leads are pretinned for soldering and long aEnough for most applications
