A GREAT PRODUCT!
In my yard I have Bermuda grass that seems to have bare areas that need some additional help. I like to be able to over seed my lawn to make it much more thicker. I see new areas of grass coming up with a lush green Bermuda grass. I live in the deep south and we've had a very dry Summer, so after I threw the grass seed on my lawn I added sand to give the grass an area to connect to, what a difference it has made on my lawn. Living in a gated community it is very important that my lawn looks well taken care of, and by using Pennington Bermuda seed my lawn has never looked better. This is a good product and deserves 5 stars

Can’t recommend
I prepped the area where I was planting this seed (added a layer of topsoil, starter fertilizer and Gypsum). I then spread the seed and covered with straw. I’ve been watering twice daily and it’s been in the upper 80’s here...not one single sprout.

They live up to expectations. No regrets!!!
Once you put them down mixed with top soil around the end of May in Virginia, keep at least 70 °F, water once a day in the evening, with a week or so the seeds grow. They live up to expectations. No regrets!!!

No grass appeared.
I planted the seeds according to instructions including approved fertilization, where and when it should flourish: Central Florida at approximately 75 degrees F. I watered it twice daily until rain took over. Not one blade of Bermuda grass that I could see ever appeared. The area had previously been grass covered but was disturbed for the replacement of a septic drain field. Winter rye was planted after the installation and sprang up, thrived until late spring when I prepared the area for the Bermuda seeds. I must think the seeds were at least part of the problem. Not one blade?

Has to be The Best.
Seeded yard Oct.17 in the rain, I had raked up the bare areas prior to the rain and was waiting for some rain to get a good start. It is now Nov.4 and I Have gotten an excellent response. Have been getting plenty of rain, I also have about 60 gallons of stored rain water that I use when there is no rain. I just use a hand held watering can and water in the very early mourning. Although the grass is still very small it feels hearty and I'm excited . I used 10 pounds on 800 square feet and I have bought 5 more pounds to use. where I started late and had to do some trimming to allow more sun light in a couple of area's. I'm gonna heavily seed the spots with poor response and put a little sand over the seed. To me rain water is the trick city water is not very good for growing things. This part of my lawn has always been a problem if anyone is reading this they can see that I am trully excited. I expect this Bermuda grass to take over this part of my yard by this time next year.

I live in Arizona. I thatched yard, spread seed and then spread a thin covering of MiracleGrow potting soil, (to keep birds from eating seeds). Temperatures have been around 108 for a high and 83 for a night time low. Watering for 6 minutes, 4 times a day. After only 5 days I have grass sprouts appearing everywhere. Personally I would have used another bag if it wasn't so expensive, but seeds are up to my expectations.
