Works for WiiU
Works great! Got it for my WiiU and works just fine. Quality is the same as the WiiU would have been originally though, in the sense that it does not change the definition or pixel size or anything. No issues with it, just plugged the USB power of it right into the console and it worked. Quick delivery too.

It has to be plugged into an electrical outlet
I bought this for my Plug and Play games. It works. IT HAS TO BE PLUGGED INTO AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET. You need a MINI USB cable.

Updating Review.Works fine. Turns out the VHS I was using to test is the only VHS that doesn't work... for some reason.

Works for old gaming systems on new TV’s
Works great! Just make sure you have the power cable from the adapter plugged in as well. I use this for my childhood gaming systems (N64 and GameCube) you need your normal power and AV cable plugged into the game system then your existing AV cables plug into the adapter, which converts your AV to HDMI and that plugs into newer TV’s. There’s a power cable included with this adapter that needs to be plugged in as well so don’t miss that. But as long as you make sure everything is where it’s supposed to be, it works great! For reference my TV is a 75” Vizio Smart TV and what I like the most about it, is the game is full screen too!

This works great. I Can watch all my old VHS and camcorder home movies on the newer tv.

Works but might not be your best option.
It works, but the picture is not a clear as just using and HDMI cable alone (if that's an option). It also needs a power source so there is a USB cable (not pictured) that also needs to plug into something like another port on the TV. You may weigh the pros/cons of buying a newer electronic device rather than trying to convert an older device for use.
